Re: GOWrite 3.0.21

Hi Lauri

I see this is billed as a development version still and not the current stable version. When do you expect it to become the stable version, please? Does it fix the problems with LaTeX output I mentioned in my post, please?

LaTeX output - problem with coordinates for a selected area

First of all, I want to thank you for all your work in producing and maintaining GoWrite. The British Go Association has been using it for more than a decade now for producing diagrams for the British Go Journal. Lately I have been using the LaTeX/igo output. igo requires that the coordinates in the...

Problem with .eps file and LaTeX

Dear Lauri I used GOWrite 2.3.37 to produce diagrams ( .eps files) from the attached sgf. For some reason, pdfTeX cannot handle diagram ..._16 correctly. On the first pass, it does not find a .pdf file. On the next pass, a blank pdf file is created. All the other diagrams are handled correctly. This...

Diagram file names in LaTeX output

Dear Lauri I am starting to use the LaTeX output option (thanks for putting this in). However, I found that GOWrite converts single hyphens in file names to double hyphens in the LaTeX output, thus from an sgf file with a name of the form a-b-c.sgf GOWrite produces diagram files with names of the fo...

Re: Export board coordinates

Dear Lauri Thanks for your email reply, explaining that, when positioned on a diagram, Export prints the board up to the NEXT diagram, including coordinates if selected. I have another, similar, problem. I have a diagram to Export, with some labelled and numbered stones (but the numbers are placed o...

Re: Export board coordinates

Hi Lauri I have what appears to be the same problem - but I suspect it's my misunderstanding of how to drive GOWrite. I wrestled with this for a long time yesterday, then it appeared to start working, and now again today it appears not work. I must be doing something differently at these different t...

Re: Unable to Export to a file

Hi Lauri Ah, thanks. I was clearing the location for the comment file as I didn't want it. This leads to it being set to the GOWrite2 directory in Program Files, to which I did not have permission to write on the Windows 7 system (unlike XP). In this situation, Export does not write the diagram file...

Unable to Export to a file

Hi Lauri I have run into another problem running under Windows 7 - I can print a diagram from GOWrite, but the Export options do not produce files (or error messages). I have tried EPS, LaTeX and Bitmap. I downloaded the latest version, 2.3.25, but still no files. I downloaded 2.3.35 to a laptop run...
