Any Plans on Having a Version of GoWrite2 Embedded on a Webpage?
Following this post ( https://forum.gowrite.net/viewtopic.php?p=4944#p4944 ) in which I have some difficulties running GoWrite2 on my M2 Mac, I started wondering about alternative solutions. One of them would be embedding GoWrite2 into a webpage, this way it could work on wherever you could use a br...

This is the Mac release error log: ------------------------------------- Translated Report (Full Report Below) ------------------------------------- Process: java [55078] Path: /Applications/GOWrite.app/Contents/MacOS/universalJa...

You were 100% correct! Thanks, Lauri!
Doing a:
And replacing the headless version with the full one did the trick.
Doing a:
Code: Select all

Re: Trying to Run GoWrite2 on Mac M2 Sonoma (14.2.1)
Thank you for the quick reply, Lauri. But do you know why I can't seem to be able to upload even "tiny" text files (100-200kb)? Anyway, do you recommend I downgrade my Java runtime? Do you know if there's a version for which it surely works on Mac M2? Personally, I don't care much about my...

Trying to Make the Jar File Run on Arch Linux
I'm trying to run the `jar` file through the following command (I've also tried within the same directory): java -jar gowrite2_3_2_3/GOWrite.jar However, what I get back is this: 240108 110409.377 net.gowrite.sgf.SGFUtil log INFO: start 21 / 3.2.3 in Linux/6.6.9-arch1-1 240108 110409.412 net.gowrite...

Re: Download Links Not Working Anymore?
Yes, I'm trying the links on this page: https://gowrite.net/GOWrite2_download.html For some reason, I have to copy the link address and then paste it on a new tab for the download to start, I don't know why (I'm using Chrome). And this is happening both on my Mac M2 as well as my Arch Linux machines...

Download Links Not Working Anymore?
I'm trying to download GoWrite on the website these days but clicking on the links doesn't seem to do anything. Has anyone had any success? Is there a mirror to it somewhere? If it goes back up again, I'm gonna download everything and create a backup. Otherwise, I might start something with HTML <ca...

Open-source Translation with LaTeX: Thank you, here is what this wonderful piece of software has generated
Here is the result of the translation of How to Play Go - A Concise Introduction , by Richard Bozulich and James Davies: https://github.com/FanaroEngineering/traducao_como_jogar_go The project is open-source, and the PDF is freely available. Is there a way for me to donate a symbolic value to the pr...

Re: Error in GoWrite Launcher, No usable JVM found
Thank you again, @lpaatero. After enabling the registry keys during install (they were marked with red crosses), GoWrite2 seems to works as usual, albeit only with:
Code: Select all
java -jar 'C:\Program Files\GOWrite2\GOWrite.jar'

Re: Error in GoWrite Launcher, No usable JVM found
I'm also getting this error on a new Windows machine (in a previous machine from less than a month ago it was working fine). I've tried installing Java 8, 11 and 17, both solo and together, all the same (I've also tried to install Java 11 from the link in the Go Write website). This is the error log...

Re: How to custom numbering without bold digits in export?
Wow, I've been misusing Go Write completely then. Thank you for pointing it out. That said, I do prefer the bold digits in general, they seem much easier to read, though only when there single digit numbers. Maybe, as a suggestion, have those bold numbers be smaller when they are double or triple di...

Is there a way of binding "Export" to a shortcut?
I'm right now heavily reliant on exporting my diagrams as EPSs, and later including them into my LaTeX document. However, at least on a Mac, this is very tedious since there's no shortcut to the export top menu item. I've also tried `fn + control + F2` and then using the arrow keys, but, after click...
