Text size variations

Post by otto »

Hi,
Question 1: When I print a game with variations, I lett GoWrite determine the board area of the variations. The variation diagrams display a smaller area and they are zoomed in. Works perfect. But de variation caption is being zoomed in as well. And the stones in the first few stones in the comment are bigger (same size as in the variation diagram). I would like the caption text of the variation the same size as the caption text of the main diagrams. Is this possible?

Question 2: Is it possible to set the text leading of the comment?

Hi,

Actually this works somewhat by random now.

Diagrams are always same sized (given in print settings), unless they cannot fit into page.
And when they do not fit, they are scaled as whole.

I think there is no simple fix to make title to scale differently from rest of diagram.

I have long-term plan to support different sized diagrams well, but this is not something I can do immediately.

Text intendation should be possible to adjust from options->Lauout & graphics.
Select Area "Comments" from combo to modify comment indentation.

Thank you for your answer.

Question 1: I have solved bij setting the grid/stone size smaller ( in the diagram options). I see that the grid/stone size is the maximum size of the grid/stones.

Question 2: I would like to set the leading or row distance of the comment. I understand now this is not possible.

Otto,

Could you make a printout showing dimensions you would like to adjust?

I could now add new settings to adjust text layout.
